Hope you feel the same

I mean, I´ve just come home after driving around the town for a few minutes because my father always says it´s good to heat up the car engine to some good 90°C when it´s this freezing cold outside. I´ve been listening to Sweet Song by The Blur over and over recently and I love it. 

Talking about the band, actually, Charlie Straight have travelled a long way to their last concert and as it seems, it was worth it. We played quite a long and satisfying gig in Nové Strašecí. There was also a certain important man watching, so we hope he enjoyed it at least as much as we did.

Today - on Thursday the 27th of December - we had a morning rehearsal, but after a slightly unpleasant text-message-chat the previous night, we ended up practising without Michael. I experimented with my younger sister´s "toy-tape recorder" which provides a great vocal distortion and then we decided to decorate the room with some posters... You´ll see when we take some pictures in there.

We´re still working on our debut album. I keep coming to Prague, back and forth, knowing the tram and underground stations by heart already. We often go for lunch to a Chinese restaurant with Majklac (the producer - always) and Boris Carloff (occasionally). And so, what´s still ahead us? Last few recording sessions including one or two listening ones with the whole band meaning Michael, Pavel and Johnny. Then, we´ll be able to say how and exactly when our CD will come out. We hope you will enjoy it this time.
