The Prague gig was all right, except...
It all just clicked. My leap from behind the guitar amps proved to be safe and I learnt to drive around town a bit better, but... There is always this little word causing trouble.
But what if the hotel where you want to accommodate your very own sound engineer refuses to open at 01:50 a.m.? What if the drummer has too many beers before the gig? Rock and roll !!!
In our case, rock wasn´t quite rolling the way we wanted, at least during the first few songs of the set. The drumming was heavy (and slow), so we kept turning back frowning and trying to make it up somehow...
Later, though, as the crowd started to enjoy it (well, so was our impression anyway), the whole vibe cleared. Thanks to a band called Revelation and another band called The Roads, we found ourselves in this lovely club full of people who didn´t even care that the last underground train home was gone.
In the end, we gave two encores and finally spoke to a thrilled chief executive from the major label we intend to work with.
